Border Security Force invites 549 vacancies:   

•  Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) for filling up 549 vacancies for the Non Gazetted & Non Ministerial post Of Constable (General Duty) in Group 'C" on temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force against Sports Quota as per table at Para 2 (a). 
• The posts have AIl India liability and selected candidate can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the BSF Act 1968 and BSF Rule 1969.

• The recruitment is only for meritorious sportspersons who are either medal winner / position holder and / or participants as per Para 4(b).

PAY SCALE AND OTHER ALLOWANCES-

• Posts-CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY)
• BASIC PAY IN REVISED PAY MATRIX (As Per 7th CPC)-Level -3. Rs. 21,700-69,100/-and  other allowances admissible to Central Government employee from time to time under the rule.
• Age-1 8 to 23 years (Relaxation admissible )
• Essential educational Qualification- Matriculation
• Sports Qualification- Individual event international/National International Event-The sportsman who have participated Rules) or won medal(s) in any International Sports tournament competition/ Championship held between 15/01/2024 to 15/01/2026 as member of the Indian contingent conducted/ recognized by International Sports Federation of concerned sports which are duly affiliated/ recognized by International Olympic Committee (loc)/ Indian Olympic Association (loA)/ Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MOYAS) during last 2 years from the closing date of advertisement. National Event- Players who have won medal(s) in any National Games/ Senior National Championship/ National Open Championship or Youth/ Junior National
